Course Description

This course introduces definition of scientific method and scientific knowledge and identifies the characteristics of science, its hypotheses and its goal. The course also introduces definition of the scientific research and educational research and, also acquaintance with the applications of researches: experimental, basic, academic, vocational, descriptive besides acquaintance with the elements of research plan, variance hypotheses and purposes of research, method of data collection in researches and description of data. Students should know how to document information.

Theoretically, this course deals with providing students with providing students with ideas about using information technology in different fields of life with concentration on its uses in the educational process by giving knowledge about using computer in teaching, knowing the functions, classification and uses in communication and problem solving, its uses in all classroom situations with preparing class environment for this and using it in getting authentic information in addition to the ability of selecting and designing good programs. The applied (practical) side includes training on using some programs like PowerPoint, Word, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Publisher and Excel) and investing in the classroom situations.

The purpose of this course is to introduce the objectives of art education, its content, and teaching methods, and evaluation methods in the first row, also aims to expand students' knowledge of the content of the material contained in the curriculum, and help them gain some skills that presented in the curriculum. This course focuses on planning, design and development of the various programs in early childhood, and apply of international standards for these programs with emphasisng on the basic elements of these programs, and to provide the necessary planning and management for the success of these programs. The course also addresses early intervention in terms of concept, objectives and global applications, and Arab and local communities in early childhood, and early intervention. The practical side is represented by comparing the local kindergarten program with global standards (the basic elements of the program bases its design, its goals).

This course deals with the concept of social education and its nature and content: History, Geography, Civil education, its relationship to social sciences, and the goals of social studies. Also, this course discuss conception needed by teacher recourses of learning un academic activities, home assignment, schools textbook, current news, local environment, learning materials, curriculum of social and civil education for three basic classroom and teaching method used. However, Attitudes, values, skills, using direct observation, methods of teaching history maps, problem solving, creating and evaluation in the field of social studies will be discussed.
