Core Strategic Objectives



                     1.  Improving the quality of academic programs at the University by providing an
                         effective learning environment and developing new programs;

                     2.  Improving knowledge to serve as a basis for supporting decision-making on
                         Jordanian society issues through networking with universities, scientific and
                         research centers and civil society institutions at the local, regional and global
                         levels;

                     3.  Satisfying the needs of the academic and administrative staff to enhance
                         their achievement for the tasks assigned to them in a university environment
                         where job stability and security are achieved;

                     4.  Attracting, caring for, and developing the scientific, cultural and social
                         capabilities of students from inside and outside Jordan, and instilling the
                         concepts of citizenship, belongingness, faith, and culture of difference
                         between students of the University;

                     5.  Applying quality assurance standards by controlling academic and
                         administrative procedures, and enriching the educational process by
                         obtaining local and international accreditations, and quality assurance
                         certificates for the University programs;

                     6.  Rehabilitating the infrastructure and providing a green university environment
                         that contributes to preparing a productive and creative university student;

                     7.  Developing the administrative staff of the University according to the
                         University’s vision, mission and core values;

                     8.  Contributing to sustainable social development by providing educational,
                         technological, informational, research, advisory and volunteer work services,
                         in partnership with official institutions, civil society institutions, and the private
                         sector;

                     9.  Strengthening the University's financial position, in order for it to be able to
                         perform its tasks and roles according to its strategic plan;

                    10. Deepening relations with universities and foreign scientific centers, and
                        exchanging experiences, in order to achieve the University's future vision.

                    11. Organizing institutional performance through an effective organizational
                        structure, based on university instructions and the laws of the Ministry of
                        Higher Education, capable of realizing the university’s vision, mission and
                        values.
