Dear Colleagues, Students, and Visitors of the university website, it’s my pleasure to welcome you on behalf of myself and my fellow faculty members in the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the Faculty of Agriculture in Jerash University to our webpage, which I hope you find useful. The Department of Agricultural Sciences at Jerash University was established in 1993, granting a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences in different fields such as animal production and prevention, plant production and prevention, economics and agricultural extension, and food science and nutrition. The faculty also provides master's degrees in economics and agricultural extension, and climate change, sustainable agriculture and food security, which allows graduate students to become agricultural engineers - finding employment opportunities in local and international institutions that deal with various agricultural sectors. The study plan of the different departments provides students with various scientific courses in varying agricultural fields to allow them to meet the needs of those who aim to work in agricultural institutions. The department focuses on teaching specialized and practical courses that provide students with the ability to practice scientific research, enabling them to complete their postgraduate studies.
