Overview of the College of Business

The College of Business at Jerash University was established in 1993, initially offering bachelor’s degree programs in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, and Accounting. As part of its ongoing efforts to develop and keep pace with the evolving needs of the labor market, the college introduced and accredited a Master’s program in Accounting in 2010. This was followed in 2020 by the launch of the Master’s program in International Business Administration and the Bachelor’s program in Human Resource Management.

In 2024, the college expanded further with the introduction and accreditation of the Master’s program in Financial Management. In 2025, it continued its growth by launching the Bachelor’s program in Logistics Management and the Master’s program in Human Resource Management. This continuous development reflects the college’s strategic commitment to enhancing educational quality and broadening its academic offerings to support economic and social development at both the national and regional levels.

Through its diverse academic disciplines, the College of Business has contributed to supplying the labor market with well-trained and qualified professionals capable of advancing various economic, social, and political sectors, in alignment with the goals of sustainable development. The college is dedicated to preparing graduates equipped with the essential knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s dynamic work environment and to strengthen their ability to actively contribute to development efforts in both public and private sectors.

Guided by its vision, mission, and objectives, the college consistently applies comprehensive quality standards across all its academic programs. This includes regularly updating study plans, advancing teaching methods, strengthening scientific research, and expanding practical training opportunities for students and faculty members. These efforts aim to elevate the quality of the educational process and enhance graduates’ readiness to face future professional challenges.

The Dean’s Office and all academic departments continue to exert maximum effort to improve existing programs and introduce new ones aligned with the highest local and international standards. These endeavors reinforce the college’s distinguished standing among peer institutions in Jordan and the Arab region and contribute to achieving its vision of becoming one of the most respected and outstanding colleges at the regional and international levels.
