Vision:

Seeking to graduate creative students in the discipline of Arabic language and literature.

Mission:

To provide students with a high standard of education through:
- Developing scientific research and implementing it in all aspects of social and cultural life.
- Supplying the educational sector, information agencies and other establishments with scientific cadres that meet local needs in relation to Arabic language and literature.

Values:

- To supply students with a varying and comprehensive knowledge system that enables them to respond positively to socio-economic, and educational developments.
- To qualify researchers with an adequate methodological outlook.
- To improve the scientific and professional levels of faculty members and instructors.
