Welcome to the Department of Curriculum and Teaching.
The Department of Curriculum and Teaching has always been one of the most vital and committed departments of Jerash University. The department focuses its efforts on establishing a comprehensive relationship between teaching research and beyond. It focuses on matters of interest to the community, the university environment, and even the local community. The programs offered by the department are based on their global importance, which is reflected in their ability to adapt to various academic fields.
In the Faculty of Educational Sciences, we seek to prepare students to be educators who has the competence to build a generation that has effective knowledge and life skills.
The ESF works to prepare and qualify teachers who meet local educational needs and contribute to meeting regional needs through a number of programs as well as the international educational directives for the preparation of teachers.
The Department of Curriculum and Teaching seeks to supplement the Jordanian educational institution by addressing required tasks and responsibilities in the light of contemporary challenges.
Preparing educators with the ethics of the profession, who possess specialized and pedagogical knowledge, as well as showing skill in the implementation of educational technology, and information and communications technology in classroom teaching. The department also aims to instill a sense of moral duty in its students and provide advanced educational programs, based constantly abreast keeping abreast of developments and conducting educational research, as well as cooperation with local, Arab and international educational bodies.
