The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences includes a group of faculty members with outstanding academic and scientific experience in various fields of pharmacy. The department seeks to provide the appropriate academic environment for faculty members and students to achieve the faculty's goal of graduating pharmacists at a distinguished level to serve the pharmacy profession and the local community, capable of dealing with the challenges of the profession and providing the best pharmaceutical care to patients in cooperation with an integrated medical staff. We also seek to conduct outstanding scientific research using the scientific equipment available to the department and in cooperation with universities and local companies in Jordan. The department works within the quality standards of the university through the quality office available in the Faculty of Pharmacy to achieve the department's vision of reaching distinguished pharmaceutical education.

To provide an excellent academic environment in order to graduate highly skilled pharmacists in the various fields of pharmaceutical sciences along with an ethical sense of professional responsibility, develop pharmacy practice, conduct innovative research in various pharmaceutical areas, and provide community services through health care education for proper and economic use of medication to achieve its benefits with the least possible side effects.
