On behalf of myself and of my fellow of Cybersecurity department members in the faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, I am pleased to extend my warm welcome to you on the department website. The Department of Cybersecurity was established in 2022, as the department grants a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity. The Bachelor of Cybersecurity is one of the most recent disciplines that has received great interest in the educational and practical field. And because we are witnessing a tremendous development in information technology, which led to a rise in the level of attacks on institutions and their information, which led to the emergence of an urgent need to protect them and the development of the science of cybersecurity.
The department aims to graduate specialists in cybersecurity who have the ability to take the necessary security measures that will protect large, small and medium enterprises and companies. And also to protect networks, devices and information from any kind of breaches or electronic attacks by building secure protection for systems, networks and data for these companies and institutions.
Therefore, we welcome students wishing to join this major and to contact the presidency of the Department of Cybersecurity in the Faculty of Computer Information Technology at Jerash University in order to obtain all the necessary information to continue their studies.
