The Benedictine abbot Peter the Venerable started an effort to study the Holy Quran in the years 1141 and 1142 when he was staying at the Abbey of Cluny. Robert of Ketton was one of the groups he assembled to translate the Islamic scripture. The goal of this campaign was to introduce Islam, which by that time had become a significant political force, to Western Christians. The ultimate objective was to aid missionaries who were trying to convert the people in areas that Christians had recaptured. Based on predetermined goals and duties, the translation was pursued. This essay seeks to shed light on the details of this translation, one of the first in Europe, which was done by individuals with little to no knowledge of Islam, misinterpreting the identities and attitudes of its adherents and acting on false ideological assumptions in order to further their own and their sponsors’ goals. A descriptive critical review is used in this work to illuminate the historical background that contributes to the understanding of the underlying problem. We take into account several viewpoints, most notably James Kritzeck’s, whose critiques aid in clarifying the translation process, and strive to reach a fair conclusion regarding it. Analyzing the translation alone, from a linguistic and cultural perspective, is another important consideration. By providing a critical-historical analysis of the setting, this initiative hopes to make translators and other interested parties aware of the project’s limitations. We defer verification and responses to subject-matter specialists since understanding the goals of this complex endeavor takes specialized knowledge, sufficient time, and consistent effort.

This article examines the portrayal of Islam and Muslim women in Renaissance England by considering the historical framework and the changes in the attitudes towards Islam at that time. It contends that Renaissance drama has presented Islam as the Other and the Muslim world as antithetical to Christendom. This article examines two specific Muslim women characters in two early English plays, Queen Tota in Thomas Heywood's The Fair Maid of the West Parts I and II, and the Turkish queen in George Peele's The Battle of Alcazar. The work relies on the ideas of several critics, historians and theorists in its analysis of these dramatic works. The two texts are read from a New Historicist perspective. Historical, socio-political and economic factors prevalent during the time are brought back to life and the plays will be explored in light of these.

Nonyat Abu Al Baqa' has received the attention of scholars and their interest, It was studied from different aspects such as the objectives, the linguistic and both of them together. There is no doubt that most of the aspects were important. This research tries to deal with the aspect of rhetorical strategy in the poem, where the researchers believe that the Abu Al-Baqa' has taken a guiding path in his Nonyat to express his purposes. He also hopes to achieve his will through various linguistic means. The most prominent of which are: questioning, appealing, mentioning of the consequences, based on the data of the pragmatic approach. This approach focuses on the purposes of the sender and his ideas and the facts surrounding his discourse. On the other hand, the research was based on a brief definition of the poet, and then the occasion and content of the poem. The research also talks about the Strategies of the discourse in general, and the guiding strategy in particular. Then the applied study and the statement of the linguistic means used to achieve this purpose.

The (Gardena) novel by the Jordanian novelist (Abdul Razzaq Beni Hani) focused on presenting its discourse on the self, the other, and the fate in the community of the novel; this is what prompted us to choose it and study the problematic of its discourse with his questions. Was the novelist able to present the narrative imagery within the framework of the ideological discourse? Was he able to present awareness of the characters from the level of emotion to the level of collective action? Was the novelist able to achieve cohesion of the novel at the ideological and artistic level in the structure of his novel in his discourse? The study aimed to reveal the contents of the novel and its indirect speeches that achieved tension and balance to monitor inactivity in the community of the (Gardena) novel. Also, we benefited from the descriptive and analytical approaches in this research by focusing on the pattern of the language of discourse, its functions, and interpretation in building the novel. 2 The research included a theoretical introduction in which it clarifies the relationship between the narrative discourse and ideology, and the concept of the term ideology in Western and Arab studies. Then, we implemented the applied study and text analysis to analyze the dimensions of ideological awareness that the study noted in the vision of the characters in: The national dimension represented by the condemnation of the local reality of Gardena and the fate of the present, the psychological dimension and the struggle with reality and the self in facing challenges, as well as the civilizational dimension and the fascination of the society of Gardena with the liberal, political, artistic, and materialistic civilization of Europeans. In conclusion, the research questioned the novel and revealed the position of the self in its ideology, as it is a cry to raise awareness among nations deprived of their will. In addition, we explained the inactivity in developing societies that suffer under corruption, and the dominance of the leader to make them obey his orders. I also indicated that the construction of the narrative architecture of the novel was based on: rhetorical variations, artistic allusions, and the strange and miraculous narrative language in: the names of the characters, as well as the events, space, and time; all of this was woven into reality and imagination, giving it aesthetics that led to the reproduction of semiotic contexts. The study concluded that the ideological vision that the novelist showed in the awareness of the characters and the problematic heroism of the people of the society of Gardena was achieved based on their vision of the world and their reality in the dimensions that frame the ideology of collective consciousness.

It is reasonably and logically conceivable that a judge commits a grave judicial error during the undertaking of his or her judicial work, whether related to legal principles, in the performance of his or her judicial duties or in his exercising of jurisdiction. This error is related to his or her civic responsibility, if it has resulted in damages to a member of the opposing party. Despite the importance and seriousness of such mistakes, and its long establishment, Jordanian legislation has not provided for it, and has left it to the general rules. There is no doubt that there are reasons which lead to such errors occurring and, conversely, that there are ways to avoid this error. Contract of professional football player is a sports civil contract, formal and of a limited term, binding to both parties, with remuneration, duly concluded between the football player and the sports club through stages. It sets up reciprocal and mutual obligations. An independent, special and stand-alone contract that is terminated and suspended in certain cases. When a dispute may arise between parties, the Players' Status Committee and the Jordan Martial Arbitration Court have the jurisdiction to settle them.

Sport announcer (commentator) is a person with extensive media experience and sport knowledge in a particular sport game that allows him to comment on, by describing the matches' events and introduce his technical opinion objectively and honestly. Practically, he is different from the sport analytic or critic with what he hold of moral and legal control, including honesty and truthfulness, away from critic with what he hold of moral and legal control, including honesty and truthfulness, away from defamation or abuse, he is also legally liable for whatever misconduct or bad comment or say regarding dignity or honor of any player, club, team, therapist and any person of the audience, therefore he will not legally liable if his commentary was free of any misconduct regarding reputation and honor, and his critics where within the legal framework.
