Dr. Musab Rabi is an Associate Professor of Construction Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at Jerash University, Jordan. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Brunel University London, United Kingdom, an MSc in Civil Engineering (Distinction) from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan, Jordan. He is a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE), London, and the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA).
Dr. Rabi has an established research profile with numerous publications in high-impact and prestigious international journals. His work spans structural engineering and construction management, including the analysis, design, and performance of steel and reinforced concrete systems, as well as the development and application of advanced and sustainable construction materials such as stainless steel reinforcement and fibre-reinforced polymers (FRP).
His research in construction management focuses on safety engineering, risk assessment, and performance optimization in complex project environments. He explores AI-enabled approaches for hazard detection, real-time monitoring, predictive risk mitigation, and the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance facility operations and project delivery.
Dr. Rabi’s recent research emphasizes the use of machine learning and AI-based models to support decision-making processes in both structural engineering and construction management contexts. This includes applications in structural performance prediction, safety analytics, and smart construction systems.
