The Library of Jerash University was established since the establishment of the University in 1993 to cope with the functions of the university in supporting scientific research and serving the local community by providing sources of information to the academic community. Based on the belief of the university's senior management in the importance of the library, an advanced library that used information technology was established where all library works have been computerized.

The permanent building of the library consists of five floors with a total area of ​​(4500 m 2) and a capacity of accommodating about (1000) readers at a time.

By the end of the first semester of 2019, there have been more than 125000 books in Arabic and foreign languages ​​that serve all the majors taught by the university. The library also has about 65 paper periodicals which have been accredited according to the general accreditation standards of the university.

The library also obtains a number of the following databases: EBSCOhost and Dar Al-Manzomah, which provide a wide range of full-text periodicals and journals.
