Consulting Center

The Community Service and Continuing Education Center was established by Jerash University in 1994. The idea behind the center was to establish Jerash University as one of the pioneering universities in Jordan and the Arab world, by placing emphasis on serving the community at a local, regional and international level. The centre aims to carry out the university's vision and contribute to its comprehensive development by investing its scientific, human and material resources. Accordingly, the centre carries out studies, consultations and technical services, holds conferences and training workshops, and develops programmes for national institutions in the public and private sectors, as well as the student body in general and individuals who would like to benefit from its services. The centre is considered an important unit of the university, and is counted as an important source for learning and knowledge. Programs, services and training courses here are run by a group of the university's professors and experienced members of staff who are professionally selected, to maintain high quality academic and scientific services, and outputs. Programs at the centre are presented in modern classrooms and laboratories, which are well equipped to provide a healthy environment for learners and trainers at an affordable cost. The centre and the university are linked to a wide network of local supportive relations which have a significantly positive impact on the performance of its duties. The centre also contributes to the administrative development movement at the university in terms of holding workshops and organizing various seminars and courses for the administrative body such as (ICDL courses, computer maintenance and programming, computer skills and printing, leadership and management skills, TOEFL, etc). Moreover, in cooperation with the Directorate of Civil Defense in Jerash City, the center runs civil defense courses for students, administrative members and university professors periodically.
