Abstracts

This study aimed to identify the most important counseling needs of the Palestinian‏ ‎university students In the light of requirements for development society, and to provide a‏ ‎proposed scenario for the creation of a Department of Academic counseling. In order to‏ ‎investigate the aims of the study, the researcher used a scale of the counseling needs, which in‏ ‎its final form consisted of (44) items distributed into (4) areas. The study sample consisted of‏ ‎male and female students, who were chosen by available means. The results of the study‏ )305( ‎had shown that the degree of the counseling needs of the Palestinian university students for the‏ ‎members of the study came high, and the professional needs ranked first and too high, and in‏ ‎last place the psychological needs came high in degree. The results had also shown that there‏ ‎were significant differences in the degree of the counseling needs of the Palestinian university‏ ‎students according to gender variable in favor of females differences, and that there were‏ ‎statistically significant differences in the professional needs according to the variable of the‏ ‎scholastic year for the senior students. In addition, the results had shown that there were no—‏ ‎statistically significant differences in the degree of the counseling needs according to the‏ ‎variable of area of specialization.‏ ‎Key words: counseling needs, the proposed scenario, the Department of Academic‏ ‎Counseling. |‏ .

The study has aimed to define the reality of model programs in the College of ْ‏ ‎basic Education- Red Sea University-sudan, regarding it is content of social ‎development principles and values, researchers used the descriptive analytical ‎method by applying analytical form contained (35) items which is included in ‎development requirements , researchers used statistical package for social science ‎(SPSS) to analyze and summarize the.data. ‎the study results are :- College of Education model programs containing the 1 ‎requirements of economic development with percentage 52% and 31.3% ,the ‎requirements of cultural and knowledge development with percentage 57.3% and ‎45.3% | ‎the principles and values associated with social and health development included ‎with percentage between 62.7 and 38.7-and the principles and values associated with ‎environmental development included with less level than the other developmental ‎requirements with percentage between 45.3% and 33.3% | ‎Keywords: model programs , basic education, the requirements of development, ‎knowledge | .

This study aimed to reveal level of social responsibility among university students in‏ ‎light of ( Gender , university , nationality , the academic achievement _, and the study level‏ ‎variables‏ ‎The sample of the study consisted of (300) university students , they were selected‏ ‎according to the available method from the registered students in the educational sciences ,‏ ‎faculty in Irbid national university and the faculty of education in yarmouk university, for the‏ ‎second semester ( 2014-2015( ‎The researchers used the developed social responsibility scale . the results showed 3‏ ‎high level of social responsibility among the university students according to the whole‏ ‎scale and the three subdomains, the results also showed that there were significant difference‏ ‎in the level of responsibly due to the gender variable , in favor of females , whilst there were‏ ‎no significant difference in the sample response on the whole social responsibility scale, and‏ ‎all of the subdomains, due.to the university variable , but there were a significant difference‏ ‎in the social responsibility due to the academic effect, in favor of very- good rate , and for ‎the forth year due to study level ‎Keywords :: Social responsibility , university students.‏ .

Thecurrent study aimed toexplore the importance of improving the‏ ‎higher education outputs by the acquirement of specialised skills to fulfil the‏ ‎needs of the modern Omani labour market. It also aimed to point out the role‏ ‎of the Omani Government in the development ofthe higher education sector‏ ‎in order to align it with the needs of the labour market. The study adopted a‏ ‎descriptive and analytical methodology by analysing.the literature, previous‏ ‎studies, context of the Omani higher education sector, and the needs of the‏ ‎contemporary labour market in ‘the Sultanate according to the official‏ ‎statistics. The study concluded by identifying the most important aspects of‏ ‎the higher education system to be developed in order to improve the quality‏ ‎of outputs and fulfil the needs of the Omani labour market, and provided a set ‎of recommendations to improve the quality of higher education outputs in ‎order to harmonize the needs of the contemporary labour market.‏ .

This study aimed to activate the elements of educational research at Palestinian universities to satisfy community service requirements where touched researchers studied through the elements of educational research at Palestinian universities. There searchers also showed the importance of activating the elements of educational research at Palestinian universities to satisfy community service requirements, and then theres earchers put proposal perception to activate the elements of educational research at Palestinian universities to satisfy community service requirements. To achieve the above objectives, theres earchers used the descriptive analytical method, relying for office in the method of data collection taking advantage of results of research and writings, also previous studies that have been published in this field of study. The study concluded that the activation of the elements of educational research at Palestinian universities to satisfy requirements of community service is constantly evolving despite the difficult challenges if faces, but not up to the desired level, which we hope for. So it needs to broaden the scope of 7 this post, and that activation of the elements of educational research more broadly to contribute to the advancement of universities, which will reflect positively on the society. Researchers recommended a set of recommendations can -be summarized as follows: put a clear plan for Educational Research plans associated with the comprehensive development of society. And the development of the role of universities as the institution responsible for the preparation of researchers, through the development of programs and activities in line with global developments, and the development of its role in serving the community. Researchers at the end of the study also came out and perception of a proposal whereby the | activation of the elements of educational research at Palestinian universities to satisfy community service requirements. This study aimed to identify the degree of heads of departments‏ ‎estimation obstacles to activate the role of the knowledge economy in the‏ | ‎development of the performance of Algerian universities, and the impact of‏ ‎Sex, experience on the degree of this appreciation , to archive the objectives‏ ‎of this study ,a questionnaire was developed was developed and administered‏ ‎to a sample consisted of (60) heads of departments at the Algerian‏ ‎universities .the results of the study revealed that the degree of heads of |‏ ‎departments estimation obstacles to activate the role of the knowledge‏ ‎economy in the development of the performance of Algerian universities was‏ ‎high, The study also results showed that there were no statistically‏ ‎significant differences in the degree of recognition of the of heads of‏ ‎departments estimation obstacles to activate the role of the knowledge‏ ‎economy in the development of the performance of Algerian universities‏ ‎due to the variable the sex variable ,experience. :‏ ‎Keywords: The degree of appreciation — heads of departments-‏ ‎knowledge economy‏ .

The study aimed to assess the role of Colleges of Applied Science in Oman in the‏ ‎service of society from the perspective of teachers.for the purpose of data collections; the‏ ‎researcher has designed an appropriate questionnaire and it was distributed among the‏ ‎population of this research in these colleges of applied sciences in Oman.‏ ‎The results of this research indicate that the value of (a=0.89) implemented in several‏ ‎colleges. Therefore, the implementation includes 51 male lectures and 72 female lecturers in‏ ‎total 123 which were treated according to sex, college and experience acronyms.‏ ‎Final results of this research indicate that the Colleges of Applied Sciences in Oman 5‏ ‎played a moderate average of (3.40) in supporting the institutions in Omani Society. This‏ ‎indication, however, scores an acceptable support of in-service training programs.‏ ‎Also, the colleges of applied sciences are facing a bunch of obstacles in serving the‏ ‎society voluntarily. Hence, the results indicate (4.08) of the average in which that the colleges‏ ‎are facing difficulties in solving obstacles and in terms of handling recent challenges.‏ ‎Accordingly, sex, college and experience acronyms show a non-valued average in serving the ‎society. ‎Key words: serving Omani society, colleges of applied sciences and the role of the‏ . ‎colleges.‏ .

This study aimed to find out the degree of owning teachers in resource rooms for educational competencies which are necessary to teach students with learning disabilities in the basic stage in Jerash and Amman, Irbid. And the degree of practice from their point of view in light of the variables of sex, academic qualification, experience and education. The study sample consisted of (63) teachers: (32) of them were male and (31) were female . In order to achieve the aims of this study the researcher designed a questionnaire which consists of 36 paragraphs spread on fields . The veracity of questionnaire and stability had been confirmed , and the stability of the possession coefficient was (0.84) and the:stability of the practice coefficient reached(0.82). By using appropriate statistical methods such as standard deviations, and analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation coefficient( to test the " strength of the relationship between the degree of ownership and practice.) the results of the study showed that 1- There were no statistically significant differences attributed to sex or academic qualification. 2 - There were presence of statistically significant due to the impact of years of experience differences .3-The degree of possession and practice of teachers in resource rooms in all fields were high, and the average of possession was (4.05) and the average of practice was (3.78). in the light of the results, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations Keywords: teacher resource rooms, educational competence. .

A field study aimed know the degree of satisfaction of secondary schools in Iraq‏ ‎managers about the role of higher education and its obstacles in the managerial skills‏ ‎development, it adopted the descriptive analytical method. The research community to be‏ ‎as director and director of schools in Baghdad (Resaca and Karsh), the way research‏ )249( ‎sample stratified random Statistics were selected (40%) of the research community, and the‏ ‎number of respondents (100) principals. It was the development of a questionnaire composed‏ ‎items distributed between the two areas. It has been confirmed validity and reliability. The‏ )40( ‎use of the researcher program (SPSS) to analyze the data obtained from the application of the‏ ‎questionnaire in the first semester of the academic year 2015 to 2016. And it reached the‏ ‎following results: the level of satisfaction of school principals about the role of universities in 1‏ ‎the administrative skill development had an average level, the result is not sufficient to‏ ‎perform a broad role in universities towards the education field, and that universities special‏ ‎programs to grant master's degree in administration for school administrators about large‏ ‎covers need no longer more than 20 thousand Director of the school, and that the spread of the‏ ‎large number of schools and one‘of the main reasons for the poor universities interact with‏ ‎school administrations, and that higher wages for participating in the activities of universities !‏ ‎and courses impede the nomination of Education employees to participate. This study aimed to identify the degree of observance of courses taught‏ ‎in Jordanian universities for students of specialty kindergarten for children's‏ ‎rights and to achieve the goal of the study, the researchers set up a‏ ‎questionnaire consisted of 39 items distributed among three areas (health,‏ ‎social, educational), were verified validity and_ reliability . appropriate‏ ‎statistical means, the questionnaire distributed to the study sample totaling‏ ‎female students who were chosen randomly from the study population‏ 115 ‎and of the total of its members (432) students were used descriptive‏ ‎analytical method has the results of the study showed that the degree of‏ ‎observance of courses taught in Jordanian universities for students of‏ ‎specialization kindergartens for children's rights came medium, has the social‏ ‎field came in the first place and highly, and in the light of the results of the‏ ‎study the researchers have recommended that universities include the rights‏ ‎of children in kindergarten specialization courses thanking deeper. |‏ ‎Key words: kindergarten, children's rights.‏ .
